Easy Tile Floor Refresher

Leave your tile floors smelling and looking great between your professional deep cleans!
1 cup of white vinegar
1 tbs of liquid dish soap of your choice
1 cup of baking soda
2 gallons of warm water
Mix everything together and use a mop to spread around

As with all cleaning, good, basic cleaning tools really are enough to do a good job. I never like to recommend getting every new cleaning gadget or potion that becomes available on the market, but in the case of dealing with pet fur, there really have been some pretty neat inventions that are actually effective. I went over quite a few of my favorites in this post about dealing with pet fur specifically, but I’ve also recently found this FURemover broom, which looks pretty awesome for people with a lot of very shed-y pets.

1 part blue Dawn dishwashing liquid
2 parts hydrogen peroxide
Mix and pour or spray directly on stain, launder as usual and watch it miraculously disappear.

MAGIC (NO-SCRUB) SOAP SCUM REMOVER
Ingredients:
One cup of vinegar
One cup of Dawn
One spray bottle
Glass measuring cups
Directions:
Heat up one cup of vinegar in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Spray the solution onto the glass while trying not to vomit at the sight of the dirty build-up while silently cursing your husband and his filthy mountain bike habit.
